Step 5. Respondent Selection

In this step, you will assign the respondents and relationships to each subject. Notice the Test Subject already has one respondent assigned (Self).

NOTE: You also have the option to allow Subjects to choose their Respondents. To implement this option, Synchronize your project and go to WebResponse to complete setup.

1. From Step 5 of the project, click a subject that appears on the left.

2. At the screen that appears in the lower right hand side of the project, click Edit Assignments.

3. The Assign respondent(s) screen appears.

4. To assign a self-assessment choose the subjects name on the left. You will notice that it has the term Self in parantheses. The program recognizes that you are assigning the subject to rate a self assessment and give the subject a self relationship.

5. Click Assign.

6. To assign a respondent who isn't a self-assessment, click the respondents name on the left side of the screen.

7. Under Select Relationship, choose the relationship that you want to assign to the respondent.

8. Click Assign.


To assign multiple respondents with the same rater relationship:

1. Hold down Ctrl and click the names that are to be assigned.

2. Under Select Relationship, choose the relationship that you want to assign to the group.

3. Click Assign.

4. Click Save.


To change a rater relationship:

1. Right-click the respondent name.

2. Choose the correct rater relationship.

3. Click Save.

To remove a respondent from the list:

4. Click the respondent name.

5. Click Remove or drag back to the list on the left.

6. Click Save.

IMPORTANT: If you unassign a respondent and save the changes after the respondent has filled out the assessment, any data that was filled out will be lost. If you need to change a respondent relationship please refer to the section above. If you need to remove a respondent for reporting purposes then you can unassign them but you will lose any data associated.
