Projects
A project is an administration of structured feedback. Structured feedback has several elements: subjects (people or entities to receive feedback), respondents (people to give feedback), survey items with scales for focused measurement and comments or open-ended questions. You'll want to create a new project for each new group of people or set of skills that you assess.
In this section you’ll learn how to set up and administer a feedback project. You’ll also find out how to provide instructions to respondents and how to ensure confidentiality of respondent data.
A feedback project has seven steps. 20/20 Insight GOLD helps you organize these steps into a feedback project.
Before setting up a project, you’ll need to gather the following information:
- Project Name
- Participant Information (Step 1)
- Participant name
- Email address
- Username or number (if assigned)
- Password (if assigned)
- Is this participant a Subject? If so, what kind of license is assigned?
- Is this participant a Respondent?
- Relationships (Step 2) – What is the relationship of the Respondent to the Subject?
- Scales (Step 3) – How many scales do you want to use? Which ones? Do you need to customize any scales?
- Survey Categories and Items (Step 4) – What behaviors or skills do you want to assess? Do you need to customize any categories? Do you want comments after each item?
- Open-ended Questions (Step 4) – Do you want additional comments/suggestions at the end of the category or survey? Do you need to customize any summary questions?
- Respondent Selection (Step 5) – Who is rating whom? What is their relationship?
- Media Type (Step 6) – What type of media will be used for this project: web, paper or both?
- Report Information (Step 7) – Which reports do you want to print? Do you need to customize any reports?
