Step 3. Scales
To browse in Scales from the Scale Library:
1. From Step 3 of the project, click the Browse icon.
2. Browse to the Resources folder in System Manager.
The path is c:\Program Files\Insight4\Resources. This path may be different if your program was installed on a network.
3. Click Scale Library.mdb.
4. Click Open.
The list of scales appears.
5. Click the box in front of the scale that you would like to import.
6. Click Import. The chosen scale appears in the list and across the bottom of the screen.
Set the Scale Range
The scale range may be set from 1-2 to 1-12. To set the scale range:
1. Click the scale name, in this case, Agreement.
2. Click the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the range. As you change the scale range, the preview on the bottom of the screen will change to illustrate how the scale will display in the assessment.
NOTE: If you use multiple scales in the project they must share the same range. You may only change a scale name at the beginning of a project. If surveys have already been completed the range must stay the same.
