Step 6. Assessment

In this step you will learn how to:

  • Choose and distribute Respondent media type:  paper or web
  • Collect and track completed assessments

Choose and distribute Respondent media type

The default respondent media for 20/20 Insight GOLD is the web assessment. With this type of media, each respondent receives an email with a link to the WebResponse site to complete the assessment.

To create WebResponse assessments, Synchronize your project and go to WebResponse to complete setup and distribute the assessments.

To create a paper assessment:

1. Double-click the Respondent name, Mary Wilson.

2. The Respondent box appears.

4. At the Assessment Media box, click the Down arrow.

5. Choose Paper Printout.

6. Click Save.

7. The Print Survey button appears in the Subject box.

8. Click Print Survey.

9. Distribute the survey.

10. The media icon for Mary Wilson has changed to paper assessment.


Collect and track completed assessments

WebResponse assessments – Respondent data may be synchronized (downloaded) many times during the assessment process. Each time it’s synchronized, the most recent data is copied over other data that may have already been downloaded for that Respondent. This feature allows Respondents to revise their assessments until the end of the assessment period.

1. From Step 6 of the project, click Synchronize.

2. The Assessment screen is updated.

Note: The number of assessments completed is updated. A check next to a respondent name indicates that the respondent has completed all their assigned assessments.

To send reminder messages to Respondents who haven't completed their assessments, go to WebResponse.

 

Paper Assessments – Data from paper assessments must be entered into the program manually by the administrator.

To enter data for paper assessments:

1. Click the respondent that you would like to enter data for, in this case, Mary Wilson.

2. The Respondent box appears on the right.

3. Click Data Entry.

4. The Data Entry box appears.

5. At the Select Subject box, click the down arrow.

6. Click the subject that you want to enter respondent data for, in the case below it's Kevin Tanner.

7. Enter data, clicking tab to move from box to box.

8. Click Next Subject or Save and Exit.

Note: The check next to Mary Wilson’s name and the 1 in the completed column indicates that the assessment data has been entered.
