Assessment
In this step you will learn how to:
- Customize pre-assessment respondent instructions.
- Preview the list of subjects assigned to each respondent.
- Prepare and distribute assessments using two media types: paper and web.
- Collect and track completed assessments.
Terms used when working with assessments include:
Assessment – The process of giving and receiving feedback about observed behaviors, using categories of survey items, rating scales and comments. An assessment can also be the compilation of a specific person’s feedback.
Respondent media – The means by which an assessment is distributed and completed.
Paper assessment – The assessment file created on paper for respondents who do not have access to a computer. Respondents complete the assessment by hand, and the administrator enters the data.
Web assessment – An assessment file uploaded to a web server for completion by respondents.
Data entry - The process by which the administrator enters the data from a paper assessment.
