WebResponse Privacy Statement
This Statement of Privacy applies to WebResponse and governs data collection and usage. By using WebResponse, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Name and Email Address
Names and email addresses are the only personal information used by WebResponse, and it is used solely for the delivery of invitations from WebResponse to survey Participants.
Individual Username and Password
Survey Participants receive a link to a login page where they enter their Username and create a unique password to enter the survey.
Anonymous Ratings and Comments
Respondent scaled ratings and written comments are stored on WebResponse and synchronized with the survey Administrator’s desktop application.
Respondent ratings and comments are confidential.
No one can view a specific Respondent’s ratings and comments.
Respondent names are never directly linked to individual ratings and comments. Scaled responses and comments are associated by ID numbers and never directly with the Respondent or Subject’s names.
Respondent’s scaled ratings are combined anonymously with other ratings to produce average scores and are summarized in the Subject’s feedback report.
Respondent’s written comments are combined anonymously with other written comments and summarized in the Subject’s feedback report.
Technical Support Access
Only PSS’s technical support personnel have access to raw data. PSS technical support personnel will NOT access the data unless solving a technical support issue for the survey Administrator, and then, only with expressed permission from the Administrator.
PSS will not disclose scaled ratings and comments from Respondents about a particular individual.
PSS will not disclose to any third party any information stored on WebResponse or allow unauthorized access to sensitive records for any reason.
PSS secures your personal information and all ratings and written comments from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. PSS secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. When information (such as Respondent ratings and comments) is transmitted to the survey Administrator’s application, it is protected by encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
