WebResponse—Set Up Respondent Feedback

Customize Respondent Feedback Site

1. Click Customize.

2. The Customize Respondent Feedback Site screen appears.

3. Customize the message respondents see upon login. You may enter specific comments or instructions for your respondents.

4. Enter your email address.

5. Customize the message respondents see when the project is offline (closed).

6. Enter the link to your web site if you’d like respondents to visit it after they complete their assessments.


How would you like the items to display to the Respondent?

7. Answer the question How would you like the items to be displayed to the respondent?

One item per page (recommended) – Displays one item and comment prompt per web page. Response is saved when respondent clicks Next after each item.

One category of items per page – Displays the category name and all items for that category on one web page. Responses are saved when respondent clicks Next after each category.

One category per page with a review + summary question on a separate page – Displays the category name and all items for that category on one web page. After the respondent clicks Next, all the items for that category, along with responses, are displayed, with a summary question (open-ended question).

11. Customize the N/A Text prompt.

If you do not want to use N/A as a response option, uncheck Let N/A be an option.

12. To allow respondents to skip instructions, click Allow Respondent to skip instructions.

13. To allow Respondents to click directly on a partcular Item on the Review-Page without answering items before it, click Allow Respondent to skip ahead in survey.

The Review-Page if the first page a Respondent sees after selecting a Subject.
It's the full list of questions displayed without Categories or Scales.

14. To display the category name with each item, click Display category name with item.

15. To display the category description with each item or category, click Display category description with category name.

16. Click Save all settings.
